Back into the swing of things!
The first week of school is already over! It's gonna be a crazy but exciting semester. My twin brothers are here at school with me now, which I absolutely love. I'm taking a zillion classes...well, not really. Only nine. (It doesn't seem as bad when you compare it to a zillion.) That's the lovely life of a music major. You'll spend hours and hours a week on a class that is one credit. BUT it's so worth it. I'm not complaining - just explaining. :)
I went to San Francisco last week with my mom and sister. It was a BLAST and now I feel ready to tackle this semester after a little break. I fell in love with that city. I love the diversity of people, food, culture. I felt like I ate in Paris, Rome, China, Thailand, Mexico...all in one place! It doesn't get much better than that. I wish I could post pictures on here...I've gotta figure out how to do that cuz we had the coolest Italian waiter. He was SO Italian. Chest hair and everything! And he kissed my mom, sister, and I after dinner on the cheek! SERIOUSLY! I love Italians. Of course, that's normal for Italians. I think we should adopt that part of their culture. My favorite day in San Fran was when we went to Alcatraz and the Ghirardelli Chocolate Factory. We also saw this cool guy playing drums on a bunch of buckets and trash cans. It was sweet. I used to do that when I was younger...I thought I was pretty cool. This guy had some sick rhythm; I was very impressed. His sign said that he was in "The Pursuit of Happyness" movie w/ Will Smith...I haven't seen it yet, but will have to check it out.
